Boren Awards for International Study – workshop 9/26

Boren Awards provide a unique funding opportunity for U.S. students to study world regions critical to U.S. interests (including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East). The countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded. These awards are up to $30,000 in funding for International Study.

The University at Buffalo will host a representative from the Boren Awards on Monday, September 26, 2011. An information session will be held from 11:00 -12:00 pm in 107 Capen Hall (The Honors College).

The session will take place on September 15, 2011 at 3:30 pm in 107 Capen Hall.

This workshop will introduce graduate fellowships and undergraduate scholarships specific to undergraduate and graduate students in math, science and engineering. These include the Goldwater, National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and others. This workshop will cover fellowships and scholarships only open to US Citizens. Not intended for International students.
